Did it top CAL's 767/we deserve profit sharing grievance?

From the C34 update;

The MEC Grievance Committee worked tirelessly for over four years to win this grievance. Their hard work, tenacity, and skill have paid off – to the tune of 32 million dollars, the largest lump sum award in ALPA’s history! We congratulate and thank the Grievance Committee on their success.

I've kept track of this grievance, read the actual papers (available on the ALPA web site) and quite frankly I am facinated at the arrogance of Jeff S and his leadership that led to this award.

This award is simply a reminder of Corporate leadership's propentsity to rob and do what they think is best, in spite of legal and binding contracts and any subtle lack morality and consideration of others while doing so.

Their mantra is "it's just business."

This award is not so much a prize, but a reminder of why contract enforcement should be considered when we, as pilots, have the opportunity to bypass the agreements we made in good faith.

No sheet. Jeff just didn't know who he was f'n with. I'll remember the past going forward...no matter how Kumbahya Oscar gets. GET $OME!

Now it's time to finish up all the lawsuits and get our 5% hold-back

Remember the lawsuits won't be finished until the Lawyers representing those suing ALPA are sure there's no more money to be awarded and therefore dropped in their pockets.

Basically when the suit cost them more than they might recieve they will settle.
