******* it's good to see an old fashioned "my airline can beat up your airline" fight. Makes me reminisce about the old flightinfo days. Nice to see the airlines are all doing well enough that this is even a discussion.
FWIW, I wanted to go to DAL, but by the time they were hiring I had 20% below me at CAL. Now with the merger with UAL and most of the pain from that gone, the OP is 100% correct. It's nice to have a lot of WBs. I have friends at DAL and even with their PS they are very nervous about the lack of in house WB lift. They see their future as feeding the WBs from China and Europe.

Weak JV language is their Achilles heal in their contract now.

Yup.
It's the new scope battle now and it's gonna bite them (and thus, us) in the a$$ shortly. DAL lead the way with RJs and now we are gonna have to deal with this.
But hey, at least they are seeing dollar signs in the short term.
