December FO Awards PBS
 

Anybody have insight why only November PBS awards are there? Normally when they pull a month down they post the next fairly quickly but doesn't seem the case this time. it's the Christmas bids too.....ho ho ho (tic).

I have never seen them come out this early. Not sure why they would take so long, everything is a computer algorithm and should not take very long after the CA awards are out.

They usually come out on the 18th

No they usually come out about 7pm EST on 17th.

But never seen previous month pulled down and hang like that. Another PBS glitch?

I don't think anything is that simple with IT in the airline world.

Because it's only the 16th? What am I missing?

I think he's asking that since October bid award PDFs have already been pulled, surely the F/O Dec bids must be imminent since there are always the current bid plus the previous bid in the 'My Reports' tab.

That's pretty much it. All saying is forever they yank the two months back and post the next month almost simultaneously. Done it that way consistently. Just wondering if we have another PBS snafu underway.

You guys are overthinking this. There's no requirement that guides when they pull the previous bid month PDF files. If the subsequent bid month isn't posted by the 20-C-1-b dates, then there's a problem. If it's a manual keystroke action by a manpower staffer I'm sure they work it into their daily routine. If it's an automated post, see 20-C-1-b.

Who knows, maybe bids get posted early, nothing in the contract preventing that, otherwise they have til tomorrow night. FWIW, the October BES award reports are still posted.
