Alaska has daily direct ANC-ORD and ORD-ANC for most of the year.

AS is also first come, first serve, starting at 60 minutes prior, except AS commuters take priority.

The commute is killing guys. They look like hell before they start a trip and when they return to ANC after a 10 hour flight, they have to get to the terminal, fight for a jumpseat to SEA (3 hr flight) then fight for a jumpseat were they need to go. I know many guys that are awake over 24 hours before they get home after starting the day in Asia and they do this 2-4 times a month!!

I did several years in prison, uh I mean the -400 in ANC. Never had to do more than two a PP, four a bid. Sometimes I had three total (RSV, 8/15/7 blocks, yes the 15 block covered Christmas and New Years.)

I took him to mean 4 times a month as counting all the legs a pilot would jumpseat during the month.

Do you mean you only had two week trips ? or that you had no more more then two reports and two commutes home in a PP

Best Case: 2 long trips (12-15 days) or 2 15 day blocks of reserve per 56 days.
Worst case: 15 days flying a month composed of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 days trips. Some back to back some with 1-3 days off in between Or week on, week off reserve but one week is 8 days. Also they can keep you out 2 days past the last day.

If you get hired up there, move.

No, I had reserve 8 day and 7 day block each pay period meaning I had to go to work twice and go home twice in a pay period. Same as you are thinking but that would be eight legs because each of my commutes was a two legger (STL SDF ANC or ANC ORD/MSP STL) I guess I should have said TWO ROUNDS TRIPS per PP.
