There have been at least a couple CJOs for the 7 Aug class, so they are already filling that far out.

The last chief news letter said 179 hired year to date with 37 going to ANC. It also said that ANC number is due to increase with upcoming classes. That sounds like 747 staffing to me.

Of the 301 vacancies after the December bid closed, 29 were 747 ANC and 37 were MD ANC.

The 301 are almost all vacancies from upgrades so just to maintain staffing at previous numbers they have to fill them.

It may feel good to hire 300 this year, but we're not really growing. Just making up for lost time. Enjoy the climb, while it lasts. We earned it.

There is no "usual" at UPS. No, several hotels around Louisville have been used for new hires.
