Do they Email you to take the Hogan?

My application center shows two applications, one "on file" and the other "active". I can't edit the on file application, but I can edit the active application. Anyone else have this situation? Is it keeping me from taking the Hogan test?

I have 2 apps, one from 2016 and one from 2017, both say active and can be edited. I met Mr. Thomas at job fair in Jan. and have 2 internal recs, but still have not received the Hogan test either. Currently flying the 400 and -8 with MD-11 type and time. Thought I would have heard something by now, but seems to be the way the US industry has gone... no rhyme or reason. From what I've read here, you should be looking for an equifax email in your junk mail possibly.

Hogan

You will get a short phone interview prior to the Hogan email. I think as long as one of your apps is active you are in better shape than most...as for what you need to do to get that first call, it is anybody's guess but it sounds like people have had luck at the job fairs.

Thanks for the info. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Spring OBAP was yesterday in Vegas. I know a couple people who attended and got some great face time with the guys in charge of hiring. Once their conversation was over, the applicants were told they would get an email link to the Hogan very soon.

It's been said before, but these job fairs *seem* to be the quickest way to the Hogan eval at UPS. Once you pass that, it seems the face-to-face interview happens within weeks.

I think the job fair circuit is a scam and I really dislike recommending it to applicants, but it just seems to work.

Agree...

Several carriers have elected to hold their own "in house" career fair. FedEx is doing one soon. Others have held veterans only job fairs.

If we really do continue to hire at this pace through next year, it would benefit the company to explore this option. For one it would allow applicants to SEE exactly what they are trying to get into. Second it would give the company more time and control over who comes and how they interact with them.

I received the Hogan email shortly after a 20 minute phone call today.
The link was in an email from [email protected]
Going to sleep on it and complete the test in the morning while the kids are at school.

Did that call come from a blocked number?

I'd highly recommend getting some *Hogan prep* before you take it, if you haven't already. RST offers it.

Edit: saw you already passed on another thread. Congrats!
