Offline JUMPSEAT Denver
Apparently this information is somewhat hard to find.
I’m a DEN based pilot attempting to catch a ride on UPS (Jumpseat booked already). My understanding is that I will drive to land-side employee lot (I have a pass); then bus to the normal drop off point at the transportation center/train. Then I will catch the cargo shuttle to UPS/FedEx enter building clear security etc...
How often is the cargo bus? And, where does it pickup/drop off? As an OAL Jumpseater, are there better options?
Thanks for the help!

That’s the downside with having a guaranteed seat on the cargo birds I suppose. Most of us cab it or use UBER. LYFT is apparently better from UPS to the terminal since UBER automatically puts you at the terminal regardless of where you are on airport property. The bus option also works, I believe it’s every 20-30 mins from the curbside. Can someone from DEN can post the how-tos on this? Call the jumpseat number for the actual gateway (out station/ ops) address if you cab it 1-800-228-2739 option 4 then 1 (scheduling then jumpseat desk). You can also ask them for the number to the DEN gateway then call DEN to see if you can just park right at UPS. Most of the time you can and it’s free. Just leave a note on your dash cause they do verify.
Best of luck.
Best of luck.

Thank you for your help. I ended up parking in land-side and riding the bus to terminal, then cargo bus to UPS gateway. It wasn't too bad at all. It would be great if the cargo bus could pickup at the land-side employee lot though.

The Cargo bus picks up from the new Transportation Center at the Main Terminal. Exit towards the hotel, go down the escalator and take a right... It departs the Main Terminal at the top and bottom of the hour. It swings by UPS at 07 and 37 past the hour. When I say "swings by," I mean it literally. It does not stop unless someone is waiting by the red bus stop sign or someone is getting off the bus.
