Cancelled rumor? They have done it inside 2 weeks, before...

I know for a fact they are still scheduling interviews. I don’t think they would be scheduling interviews if there were plans to cancel classes. Plus, from what I have seen, these planes are still packed with cargo.

Allegedly someone on Delta’s message board claims ups has canceled newhire classes? Well, I call bs on that one - yesterday’s new hire dinner went as scheduled.

Allegedly some April CJOs got FJOs earlier this week.

The Delta person claiming classes at UPS are being cancelled is actually married to a probie UPS pilot. She claimed the info came from him.

I think you would hear it on this site pretty quickly if classes were cancelled.

They were still interviewing earlier this week. So I doubt those decisions have been made yet. Additionally, if the load numbers people are talking about are more than anecdotal, than this may actually drive hiring.:eek:

Interviews being scheduled into the week of April 20th as well. This is as of 3/10.

My April 6th class was switched to April 7th.

Probably just changes what was going to be available. If history continues, it just means you were moved from the heavy jet class to the light twins.

It sounds like they are combining the 2 classes, so I’m not sure what that means as far as aircraft assignment.

I received a pool letter on 25 Feb and it says to keep hours updated within my 2020 application. Currently still flying in the Air Force on a weekly basis. When I login to my app the section to update hours is locked. Should I contact UPS now that it has been a month or just wait? The pool letter says not to contact them inquiring on status.

Thoughts? Thank you.

I would recommend following instructions.

The directions say to update hours and not call. I can't do both, hence why i asked.

You might "in the blind" send an email or message regarding "This is an update to my hours" and call it good. This would probably not be an action-request from HR requesting status.

I think there’s a fax number or email that they reference when you get the pool letter to send your updated hours to.

You should have gotten a fax number on your pool letter to send updates to. Once you interview your application stays locked.
