Default Resume review questions

Hello All,
I was contacted by a person at ups using a personal Gmail asking to set up a zoom review. Said UPS won’t let people use UPS email when working from home . I searched this person and they are listed as Chief Pilot in Louisville but the email to me was signed interview technician. All the information is how I understand the process but this is throwing some red flags. Any one know about company emails not being used etc ?
thanks

I'd be surprised if youre randomly getting a fake interview invite. UPS is so tight with security, it wouldn't be surprising if they had that policy regarding their email. Id go with it.

Our IT is not exactly industry leading. I also think it’s probably legit. Good luck! Hope to see you on property soon.

Yes it is legit, I received the same email a couple months ago. They are technicians because most are retired management pilots now doing the interviewing as contractors for UPS. They are working from home due to Covid, thus the personal Gmail. All the best. Just finished going through the process myself and start next week. Very excited to join the UPS team. Happy to answer any other questions you may have.

I had the same situation and talked to a friend of mine that worked at UPS and he verified the name as an actual person on the hiring team. You can PM me the name and I can verfiy if its the same person that sent one to me. Good Luck!

Skibumm, would you mind sharing your timeline from initial contact for your resume review to class start date? I just interviewed last month. I know UPS doesn't do first in first out, but I'm just trying to get an idea. Thanks and congratulations!

I just got a CJO for August class. Initial contact for resume review to CJO was just a few days over a month.
