UPS is likely the only airline that doesn't allow pilots/jumpseaters to carry alcohol.

How would you know? Presumably you didn't read their policies, either.

So we just show up all ignorant and sweaty with a bag clanging like a homeless lady’s shopping cart?
Can I get a ride y’all?

I wouldn't honestly. Industry standard Jumpseat dress code and requirements are the following almost 100% across the board:

1. Slacks
2. Collared shirt
3. Clean shaven, hair combed
4. No tennis/exercise shoes
5. All paper work including pilot cert, medical, CASS verification, etc ready to present to Captain, always ask Captain for permission to hitch a ride.
6. Nice to everyone and smile.

Some carriers are a bit more lax and will take someone in jeans or someone with a beard, but not always. But the alcohol thing is something way far out of left field and isn't something anyone not at UPS would expect.

You're being ridiculous.

Carrying alcohol in a suitcase isn't an asinine concept. I've jump-seated with alcohol in my suitcase many, many times and never even thought to drink it while on board. I'd rather enjoy my Spotted Cow or whatever other tasty beverage I'm transporting home while sitting in my hot tub on my patio. Drinking it on a plane would be a waste.

You mean a roll-a-board?
3. You’d refuse a jumpseater with a beard that works for an airline that allows such facial extravaganza?

Jumpseat is a privilege and not a right, it would behoove you to look up the carriers particulars.
End of story.

I just looked up the UPS jumpseat policy on the ALPA website/App and nowhere does it mention this policy. So this begs the question: how would an offline jumpseater know this rule?
