New system bid
 
Anyone keeping track of the number of open new hire slots from last system bid vs number of new hires so far this year…seems like a bid would come quicker than prior years.

My understanding is all remaining MD slots are filled, but slots still available on 74 ANC and 75 SDF/ONT.

Yes.

Remember, the Company contractually has 18 months to fill a vacancy, so available newhire positions are not limited to positions generated any given bid.

Looks like about 140 hired so far this year…how many slots were there….it doesn't seem like UPS mo to run fat on the new hire slots.

counted 178 slots…time will tell…guessing May bid

Should have thought of that. Rough numbers since Jan of ‘21 is 441 vacancies and 412 new hires. Leaves 29 spots unfilled. I’m sure there are factors I’m not taking into account which change the math.
