USPS should be abolished. 90% of what they "ship" is nuisance junk mail, and a security argument exists for hard copy paper bills, credit card offers, etc to be continued to be used in mail, sitting around unlocked mail boxes.

Have you? Eliminating the service from the govt’s books would be equivalent to a rounding error. If you want to tackle govt spending issues, usps is one of the last places to start.
