We have a whole bunch here at UPS.
In my new hire class alone back in 2007, we had two guys...one at JAL (lived in Japan), and one at Cathay (lived in HK). I've ran into many more throughout my 10 years at Brown. |

Your class had the superstar whom became a management pilot. And no, he was a cathay cargo guy. US based.

I worked at two Single-pilot 135 operators prior to my current 121 regional job, each one was better than then the next.
I don't have the 1000 multi-engine jet PIC (about 300 short, and I'm reserve here in LA and the block hours is SLOW to come by) some Caravan time and other piston single pilot PIC time from my Bank Check gig. You guys and gals think it will be worth my time going to the FAPA job fair in April and talking with a recruiter? Working for UPS at ONT would be 'Huge' and I want to be there. Thanks y'all |

Schedule is fleet & domicile dependent, but generally speaking newhires can expect Reserve A (midnight-noon) or a Base Trip Line, which are lines with short trips/more reports, shorter blocks of days off, and can swing you from day to night and back. how many years seniority until you can expect to be off on Thanksgiving, Christmas. |

100% it would be worth your while. Young guy in my class had a solid resume, albeit no heavy time or international experience. He spoke with a recruiter 2.5 years ago and they established communications... he went to Emerites and flew the 777 for 16 months and got hired. Now he's got a 32 year career at UPS ahead of him. I'm a newbie here so my experience is very limited, but from what I've been told by others on this board, and speaking with pilots as I get to know them... Brown hires from a variety of backgrounds.
