Dc-10 parked too long in the wrong barrio.

That jet looks like some of the ones I have seen stored in Arizona that are on the way to the scrap heap. It's sad to see them go that way...

will it ever fly again. sure just not as one plane. maybe spare parts in others.

The -30s were sold to ATA, and the -40s are in Greenwood, MS awaiting to become beer cans.

Used to fly over Greenwood a lot during T-1 training at Columbus AFB. I remember seeing a bunch of "heavies" on the ground there in the graveyard.

There is one of the world's biggest aircraft scrap yards by my house. I need to try to convince the owner to let me go mingle and take photos.
