I'd love to go to Lake Hood when the lake is liquid.

I've only been there when it's frozen. I'll get there in the warmth sometime!

Great shot - love how many of the P&W powered machines - Beaver, Stag, Howard DGA's just seem dominated by the engine/prop/spinner. neat perspective on the shot. Also love HSld's shot of the amphib landing.

Too bad we can't have sound along with the pics!
