Jungle I don't want to step on your toes, but I figured posting another photo is in the spirit of this board!

How about some sunrise over Montana:

I like the way Jungle balanced the light between the panel and the sunrise - that's not easy. I couldn't get that balance in my shot so I went for the shadows on the base of the clouds.

Hey Jungle, do you use some sort of tripod in the cockpit when you shoot in low light conditions? I've used one of the grippy gorilla-pod things but it can be frustrating to work with in a cramped cockpit. Just wondering how you get crisp images like that.

I don't own a tripod of any type. I do use a camera with image stabilization, which in effect floats a lens element through electro-mechanical means to reduce apparent tremor. I am shakey but there are a few things to counter that anyone can do. Make multiple shots or fire a burst, rest or press against any available firm surface, and perfect your release technique so that the shutter fires with a minimum of disturbance. In the end, it may take a dozen or so shots and sorting out the best to keep.
I used a Canon G7 for most of these(newest version-G9). Not an endorsement, just what I use.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I recognize that shot of yours from the slideshow that was posted a while ago, Jungle . . .

Close, but no cigar, it is as we say "same same, but not same same". You did however miss another repost.

You will probably see more in the future, we have to give the guys with reading glasses a break.
