Nice Bassler conversion. Stretched 40", all metal flight controls, turboprops, and all new flight deck. Bassler is located in Oshkosh, WI. I think this convert runs 10 mil!

I saw the turbine DC-3s a couple times and the beech conversions as well. I think they're doing that airplane a great disservice. That airplane deserves radials

Pip,

You're right, but this day and age it's a ***** finding parts or a mech to fix those radials. I do a lot of A/C maint on my own plane and I'd hate to work on one of those P&W rads., especially in the cold. This plane still has lots of potential. Throw some rails and rollers in it and haul containers.

Jungle,

Tell me, is this taken in Columbia? If so, it's "special". Not the antenna above the flight deck. Don't ask! Plain clothes, no neck ties.

I've done some work with the local CAF branch. I guess I'm partial but I understand where you're coming from regarding parts for some of those old round engines.

Nevertheless, it's neat to see those goonies still flying
