The aircraft in the foreground is a Hispano HA 200B Saeta, designed by Willy Messerschmitt in Spain, exported to Egypt in time for the war... ...the engines; Turbomeca Marboré IIA turbojets, which as you know Continental built under license as the J69 on the T-37 with slightly higher rated thrust.
