After my long X-C solo. I think the sky/clouds work well in this one.

You do a much better job of parking on the line then I do...

Guess I'll have to give up my Thunderchicken Aspirations

Nice pic BTW, where is it taken?

Yep - good parking job.
I have to have help getting it on the painted line

Nice picture planespotta. Glad you got it on the ground.
So where did you fly to on your long X/C?

I'm a little weak on my civi VID's but I'm pretty sure that's not a PA-28. You switch to the High Wing Dark Side?

I always was a fan of the Cessna's over the pipers. The whole trim wheel on the ceiling thing was always way over my head....

Thanks guys! That pic was taken at BED after my long X-C from BED-PWM-CON-BED. It was a beautiful day for flying - here are a few more pics.:

Anybody wanna wager a guess at the airbase in the last shot?

I actually just saddled up alongside Luke and Han and am flying PA-28-161's for my Instrument and Commercial work (I'll be getting up close and personal with the Arrow some time down the line, too!) So far, I'm thinking the Cessna was much more of a "pilot's airplane:" it's handing, visibility (don't get me started lol), and overall flyability kick the Warrior in the rear, but I'm loving the Warrior's power, so it's a bit of a tradeoff. If the weather works out, I'm gonna X-C it up for the first time in the Warrior tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have some more pics from that to share.

Thanks for sharing the rest of the pictures. As for the Piper -vs- Cessna debate - I actually felt the opposite. As soon as I finished my private training I got a checkout in a Warrior because I always felt the Pipers were more of the pilot's airplane. I did all of my private and instrument training in Cessna's, but my commercial and multi training in Pipers and I preferred to rent the Warrior, Archer and Arrow for my recreational flying.

After looking at the picture on Airnav - I'd say you are correct!

Yeah I've heard from pilots around the local airport that the Warrior is an "acquired taste," so I bet it'll grow on me as I work on my stick and rudder mojo.

Looks like you are still at EFA. I recognize the ramp as well as the "canned" EFA cross country that the students fly. If I were to guess I would go with N4791G. I have probably pulled onto that ramp 1,000 times and can put a cessna anywhere I want on centerline and right where I need it but for some reason I could not for the life of me park that damn thing on the line.

Good luck with your training. Ive stopped by there a few times to say hi to the guys.
