I think this is right outside of Portland Oregon right??? I've flown around there many times and there's a farmer who always does this...

Nice, I flew over that area several times on my private pilot x-country flights from Ithaca to Dansville and Canandaigua. Unfortunately I never saw that field.

Where around Keuka Lake was this picture taken? Also where were you flying to/from?

The photo was taken during the 2005 Seaplane Homecoming at Keuka Lake. I don't remember exactly where that field was, but it was around the immediate vicinity of Keuka Lake - most likely north of the bluff at the north end of the lake.

This particular flight was with a group of Seabees, and it was a salute to the great aviation pioneer Glenn H. Curtiss

My geography maybe a little weak but last I checked New York was on the east side of the US

But they could have moved it for the election.
