Trip to the NW Hanger in MSP
Hi everyone. Last weekend my dad and I headed down to the MSP hanger to see if we could look around at some of the aircraft laying around inside. Little did we know, we were in for a BIG treat. The last time I was at this hanger was before 9/11...I think I was in 3rd grade or so. But anyways here are some the pics from one of the best days of my life. Ben I'm actually going again the 14th or 15th! My dad thought it would be a good idea to get together some of the neighborhood kids along with their parets and show them around some of the planes. And this weekend my dad and I are going to try to get into a simulator at the eagan training facility. Last time I was there was back before 9/11, and I flew a 727...so if i make it there i'll definatly be bringing my camera again to take some shots.

Never forget these days. They will see you through the inevitable rough patches along the way to the dream. I remember doing exactly what you're doing when I was in high school. I would spend my allowance each week to pay for parking so I could go hang out in the Delta terminals for hours. Years later, I'm able to be in the very same cockpits that as a kid 20 years ago I spent my time dreaming about. Great stuff!!

I would spend my allowance each week to pay for parking so I could go hang out in the Delta terminals for hours. Years later, I'm able to be in the very same cockpits that as a kid 20 years ago I spent my time dreaming about. Great stuff!!
Funny you say that because i'm exactly the same. I haven't gone to the parking garage yet where you do have to pay, but I still try to make it out to the MSP to spot atleast 3 times a month in the winter, and who knows how many times int he summer! haha, but man if only I could fly a commercial jet! I've been waiting for too long now and I can't take it anymore.
