There is not restaurant on the island the airport is on, but if you take a taxi into town (5 min ride and they monitor unicom) (town is top right of the picture) there are lots of little shops and great places to eat. It is a small fishing town and mostly untouched. I always love going to Cedar Key.

This is kind of weird, but my aunt and uncle have a condo there. My uncle has been wanting to have me fly himself and my father down for a week this summer. Looks like it could be a little tricky getting in to. I've never landed on a runway that close to the water.

I have been to Cedar Key when i was training down at FSI. One I liked flying into the last year and a half while instructing in GA was KMLJ Baldwin Co on the lakes southeast of ATL. I wish I had some pics.
