Twinning Around

That looks like a blast! Thanks for sharing Cub.
Did you go anywhere? Do anything? Or just fly around for the pure enjoyment of it?
Remember - if you're hungry - hit up the BBQ at the MIllionaire FBO at Topeka, KS!

I am adding my MEI and CFII tickets. The gentleman showing up a little bit in one picture is my instructor. But flying is so much fun I would be fibbing if I did not say that was my prime reason for doing it. Between VMC demos we went to Poncha City where they have a pretty famous fly in Mexican restaurant. We also buzzed my instructor's airstrip in Valley Center north of town- it must be pretty cool witnessing a piston twin do 220 mph a few feet off the ground in your back yard up there. If only I could get into that Texan... now that would be another story.

That is great that you are adding on some quals.
As for the sight - I would agree!

Small world--Born and raised there. As a child we went to the airport on Sunday afternoons to watch the airplanes! Walked through a kc-97 that flew in for a display/airshow?. I remember the crew get a jump-start from two trucks
as they were preparing to leave. Some one drained the batteries...
Is that the Arkansas river in the frame?
