Well what I would do is what I usually do: leave my car way over at the Dublin/Pleasonton BART station and take the train to downtown and then to the bridge from there. No traffic problems!
Is the bridge open to pedestrians and bikes while there are planes flying under it?!?!

Yes, the bridge remains open during the show, and to be honest with you, I don't think that they let anyone fly "under" the bridge during the show. Too many boats out on the Bay during the show to allow that! Wouldn't want anyone's wings clipping someone's sails!
Good for you for taking BART! Those of us who live here really appreciate it!
