Tokyo to Narita Commute
This one goes out to all the UAL wide-body pilots who have downtown Tokyo layovers. I've heard that a typical 5-6 day NRT trip includes about 8 hours in a cab between Nartia and Tokyo - good times!

Neat video. Wouldn't taking the Narita Express (NEX) train be considerably faster and cheaper than taking a cab? Must be rolling in the green stuff to be taking a cab in Japan!
|
It seems to me that you could equally do one for those guys who fly into JFK and have accommodation in Manhatten - except you would have to shake the camera more for all the potholes in the road surfaces and there would be a lot more photos of stationary traffic:(
... and yes, I'm sure you can argue similar for the journey into the West End of London:rolleyes:, albeit without so many potholes |
Cool video. Seems that cabby was pretty efficient too.
Odd question...is the "fast lane" in Japan the right lane? |

It's amazing how everyone but Americans have mastered the idea of "GTFO of the fast lane if you're not passing anybody."
