I see JAL a lot. Its wild to see how much those wings flex under a load on rotation.

I was thinking the opposite. For a Boeing wide-body, it's small.

787 has 219
757-300 has 216 seats (narrow body)
767-300 has 193-244 seats
767-400 has 235-256 seats
777 has 283 seats

Even the 737-900 has 173 seats.

I know this is the short 787, but I thought it would be bigger.
Either way, I'm not flying it. I'll wait a few years for them to work the bugs out.

I know that you know, but you're not acknowledging the whole picture.

The 787-8 is longer, wider, and heavier than a 763. Even more so for the -9/-10. Simply looking at seat density is not reasonable, and I know you know that.

Factor in the HUGE and widely spaced pax windows, the HUGE cockpit windows and drooping nose cone, the big diameter engines, and you have an illusion of an aircraft that is not as big as it really is.

You may or may not have had an opportunity to crawl around the 787 yet. I have, and it is definitely a big plane...that looks small.

This can't be a serious post.
