P-51 Mustang operations on aircraft carriers

Most of those shots are just of Mustangs being transported overwater via carriers; the airplanes are not operating from there.
The first couple shots show a single airframe that was modified for testing aboard a carrier with a taihook and some other minor changes. Notice the tail number in the shots. That test pretty much went nowhere; the Mustang was never operationally based on a carrier.
