This represents a job specification written by a human resources generalist that uses "Frankenstein" sentence fragments listed in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles...rather than consulting with the Director of Aviation for a professionally written, cogent, pertinent description of the position.
Opinion: This either signals a perfunctory management style on the part of the Aviation Department or a substandard relationship between the Aviation Department and the "Mother Ship." This is a red flag for anyone seeking employment with any company who follows this practice.

I love reading pilot ads that were written by HR people. Hilarious!
"Push the buttons and flip the switches. Operate the gadgets while observing the dials and lights. Move the levers and pedals."

One of the Koch pilots contacted me and said those jobs opened up because of recent growth within the Koch flight department, not because of anything overly negative. He said it is a comfortable job and that he is happy to be working for Koch. He is a regular APC'er and an old acquaintance of these boards, so he can be taken as reliable. I am happy to hear the pilots like working there and I'll apply when my own resume seems up to it.
