"Abu Sayyef" Killed?
We've all experienced the quality of CNNs "journalism" in the airline biz lately, and it seems like they're up to it again. I woke up to CNN reports of "Abu Sayyef" being killed, but isn't that an organization and not a man?
It's like saying they killed Greenpeace.

That would be an amazing coincidence. Maybe next they can go after Al Qaeda - the man, not the group.
Abu Sayyaf Group - Islamic Studies - Oxford Bibliographies
I'm still going with the media will misinterpret and read any steaming pile of "news" that they're handed.

The ISIS commander, identified by his nom de guerre Abu Sayyaf, was killed in a heavy firefight after he resisted capture in the raid at al-Omar, U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said in a statement.
The officials identified Sayyaf's captured wife as Umm Sayyaf, an Iraqi. She is now being held in Iraq.
The U.S. government did not release Sayyaf's real name.
