Default Beechcraft XA-38 Grizzly

The following link shows an extensive report and photos about a fabulous aircraft that, for various reasons, never went into production:

Aviação em Floripa: Beechcraft XA-38 Grizzly

Hope you enjoy and I count on your visit!

Cessna has designed and flown many prototypes as well, that either never made it into production or not in their original form. While not exactly cutting edge one of my favorite examples is the original C340 Config. It was originally fitted with GTSIO 520's (Same as the later 421's) and had the performance you might expect. Well into flight test those engines were switched, mostly due to endurance issues.

I posted a series of Cessna developmental history photos here some years ago. I can't recall which one has the 340 shots, but they're chronological. I found a set of notes to go with this set though, and can answer a few questions on them.
