The Bose popover ad is annoying

Please make popover ads go away permanently

Indeed. I understood the admins to say they were permanently gone months ago. This thing locks my iPad up for approximately 2 minutes while it slowly loads and slowly closes...

I also thought pop ups were eliminated after the PSA ad a while back. The ad loads so slowly I have to refresh the page to get my browser back. Don't push me away from visiting

Hi all,

Thank you all for the feedback. Pop-up ads should not have been running on mobile, and our team has now deactivated pop-up ads on mobile phones and tablets.

As for the desktop experience, pop-up ads will run for the rest of this month (November) and February 2017 due to contractual obligations, as we previously mentioned here. After that, pop-up ads will no longer run on APC.

Could that Bose pop-up ad be any more dramatically slow? First the screen freezes for about 15 seconds...then the ad finally shows up...then once you hit the X to delete, that takes about 5 seconds too!

I go to the forums site and have to wait to put my username and password in until the slowest popup ever loads. Then when I log in I have to wait for the fukcing popup again. You seriously need new IT guys.
