Hawaiian Airlines Hiring
#1111
Application in, but man there are a couple tricky areas. I should have at least one letter of rec coming from a HA pilot in the coming week, but at the time of applying I said 'No' to letters of rec as I did not receive one just yet. It doesn't look like you can go back and edit that part later. The question on flight time gave only two choices, for how much turbine PIC you had... no option for '0'.

FYI, the app asks three semi-essay questions. Not sure if the site would time out on you if you took too long, but it would be good to have answers to these questions:
- Please tell us what attracted you to flying, and how you came to this point in your aviation career.
- Tell us something about yourself that we may not otherwise learn during the application process.
- Why do you want to work for Hawaiian Airlines?
Good luck!

App is in...competition will be tough. Mahalo for all the great insights here!
Just hoping for an interview. Please baby Jesus, mother ocean, and all that is holy.
Recommend preparing 321's questions in word and be ready to paste into app. There is no ability to save and return.
Any words surfacing on the change in interview format? Still the Farq gauntlet?

Rumor is several hundred applications already, for about 14 openings. Extremely competitive, shear numbers and math make this a tough go this time around. These openings are for retirements...but don't be discouraged...if you really want to fly for Hawaiian the real hiring will occur late 2016 / early 2017; so you have time to get your qualifications and references / letters of recommendations. It's an excellent career choice, particularly if you want to live the island life...best of luck!!!!
