And yet, it's probably a good call.
He's racing the clock to get his hours to upgrade. If he waits too long they may reduce hours to the point where all captain slots are filled with Jr prior 121 guys with the time. Of course that assumes no further growth, and the rumor mill has 9E gaining 20 more 200s next year. Either way, this environment is a massive improvement on 2 years ago no matter where you end up. Good luck in your decisions!

6 is the outlier, I've only done that twice and those months were above 140 credit. 10-11 is probably average

I finished OE with Endeavor last week. I was awarded DTW-900 during training on my initial bid. Got lucky! NYC is the most junior base right now and I bet everyone in September and possibly all of October will get NYC to start. Not to worry because you will be able to hold DTW no later than the November/December time frame. I bet you DTW will be the most junior base again going into 2017. MSP, however, is a different story haha. That will always be senior. Come to Endeavor! So far I freaking love it here.

I've done it at 9E (been down to as few as 6 days off) as well. Living in base with a handful of day trips on top of normal 3-5 day trips, its not bad. Especially if you're single and pushing to get to upgrade mins.
