Default Latest and greatest regional?

I was just curious what everyone's opinion is on who the latest and greatest regional airlines is. Endeavor sounds really good with their $50k a year salary, Envoy sounds good with their direct flow to American and the fact that they're wholly owned, Skywest sounds nice because they are the largest regional and aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I realize that regionals all suck......for lack of a better term, but as far as picking the best in terms of upgrade time, quality of life, and base location, any input would be appreciated. I live in the Detroit area so a DTW base would be nice, from what I've heard Detroit is no longer Endeavor's more junior base, any idea how long a line or reserve at DTW might take?

The regions are going to be what YOU make of it and what your attitude is. If you come here and read through each airlines' thread you'll most likely want to quit aviation. Go in anywhere and have a positive attitude and you'll be fine. I can't speak for Endeavor's DTW base but it is now the most junior base at Skywest. Holding a line shouldn't take more than a couple months.

If you want DTW, I would say either ExpressJet, Skywest, or Endeavour. DTW is junior for ExpressJet, and reserve is sitting at about a year, and possibly shrinking. Upgrade time is falling as well.

For DTW I would recommend either Skywest or Endeavor. In today's industry you shouldn't be sitting reserve for more than a couple months..certainly not at their junior base.
Either of these would be good choices.
Expressjet though a good company, has long reserve and long upgrade times.

Endeavor and SkyWest if you live near DTW. Don't go to ExpressJet.

At Endeavor you should be able to hold Detroit within a vacancy or two, and a line very shortly after that. I sat reserve for 2 months here in DTW. This is while NY grows. I think it will go back to being equally as junior as NY by January, but that's just my opinion.

The big benefit to Endeavor is the large pay. $50k guaranteed. I'm going to clear about $70K before you include per diem, +$75k with. On first year pay.

Plus upgrade here is now very quick as well. I'll be all set to upgrade as soon as I have the hours, around December, about 15 months after my hire date.

Yes and no.

If you play your cards right with 200% it's fairly easy. I'm averaging 125ish credit hours a month. Some months it's more, some it's less. Anywhere from 13 days off down to 6 with my pickups.

I have less than a year seniority and I am getting a line with 17 days off which really helps up the credit while still having time off.

Yikes I would call 6 days off killing yourself. Shocking it's even possible with 117.
I think you are part of a very small group working that many days.
