Do 5 years at psa then move on. That right there is worth more than anything.
This is 100% INCORRECT. AT PSA you have nothing but an RJ job, which is the same you have at ExpressJet. You aren't guaranteed anything. Just ask a ExpressJet guy who had a 'guaranteed job' at Continental only to have Continental Express spun off and the flow through cancelled. Many had a letter in their hands with a Continental class date only to have that letter replaced with a 'preferential interview' letter. Many did much more then 5 years before they could move on.
Point being, you aren't guaranteed anything. PSA could be sold, or Us Airways could be fragmented and sold. It happened to Pan Am.
My advice is to interview and take the job you are offered. This industry is a little bit of interivew prep and a lot of blind luck. ExpressJet will be merged with ASA & run by Skywest, but all of those airlines have a lot of 50 seat RJ's that are becoming expensive and uneconomical. Whether that effects them long term is yet TBD. It really is a crapshoot.
