Enjoy your life at the Regionals then..... Guess if that is all you want then have at it.... At the end of the day the way the industry was set up we all for the most part now have to go to these regionals to move on due to various factors. There is NO way you can tell me the contract xjet has is better then any major and or most others like Fedex, UPS etc.... Perhaps it is industry leading at the regional level (thus why I said they had a better contract in my prior post if you actually read it all). But it still it is no where close to amazing.....

Hell just look at AWAC, great contract and now their about to start this process of their section 10 and all they are hearing is, "Our labor is too expensive." I have a good feeling you'll be hearing the same at Xjet pretty soon..... Hopefully you all will be able to get more and not lose anything, but one can never know.......

So a pilot group is not suppose to take new planes? I think AWAC, Xjet and most others would have done the same thing to "protect" their pilot group... Someone was going to be flying those planes and the D328 parts are damn near impossible to find.... So they were suppose to let their airline die? Hmmm I'm not seeing what our ALPA leaders did at the time (before my time) would be any different then what others would have to protect THEIR pilot group.....

FYI we are still waiting on well over 35 CRJ700s that never were delivered... Guess we can blame RAH for getting our planes eh? NOT!

I guess you obviously have no idea how PSA screwed Allegheny and Piedmont to protect their own, do you? At least PSA was able to secured a flow-through for 17 pilots, not bad...

No I do know what you are speaking about... But again you can get upset about so many things..... If USairways came to PSA and PDT tomorrow and said get some Q400 rates for us and let us know what you can fly them for, do you not think PDT ALPA would try their hardest to secure those planes for their pilot group no matter what?

Also with that being said there is a reason why all the US Airways express ALPA airlines are working together to prevent such BS from happening again... But you can continue to blame those at PSA for that in which only a handful of those guys are still on property.... I'm sure it was the 400 guys at PSA whom were never here when all that played out fault eh?

Only around 180 out of 450 pilot on property were around when that went down. It's like saying we should be held accountable for what happened to the indians 300 years ago. Now the 900 vote that went down.....well that was Senior PSA people scared and manipulated and falling for the same old management tricks. They will fall for them again because well...."Fool me once"

Ignoring the "my dad can beat up your dad" tone of some previous posts...

I hated commuting to work at PSA, the stress ate me up every week. Had I lived in CLT it would have been a much better situation. I loved working at Eagle(which is somewhat similar to XJET) - despite the "Hitler Youth" mentality, despite preferring the CRJ to the ERJ, despite sitting reserve in LGA.

The difference was QOL. I had some control of my life, even on reserve at Eagle. XJET pilots by all accounts have even more. I has none at all at PSA. The crews at each are great, the destinations are the same, the hotels are even the same. The money won't make much difference. Who will upgrade first isn't even as sure a thing as a crapshoot - its completely out of anyone's ability to affect or even forecast.

Go to whoever offers you a job. If you have two offers, pick the one in your hometown, or the one with the better junior domicile if you're going to move either way. If you're going to commute you haven't been paying attention. Go back and read the eleventy-gazillion threads that say 'commuting sucks, I'd rather be given a no-anesthetic colonoscopy by fire-ants.'

XJET has a better contract. Other factors might make PSA a better fit for you regardless. The future is utterly unpredictable. Expect bad things and be pleasantly surprised if they don't happen.
And good luck!
