To the OP, it is an ATP requirement, not just 1500 hours. The real question is how will section 217 pp (d) play out. Will the hour reduction be only to the training referenced in pp (c) (2) or to the full 1500 hours listed in (c) (1). As long as the reduction only applies to (c) (2), I have no problem.

15 multi???? Assuming that is true, soon there could be a guy/gal sitting in the right seat who has had about a dozen simulated engine failures and a whopping two full feather shutdowns. That is just sad. I guess the good news is he/she will be flying an almost centerline thrust airplane that doesn't rely on auto coarsen.
(No offense to the individual, I'm sure he is a fine 400 hour pilot)
