If you started class you were employed. If you had to leave just put the dates you were there and you can always explain it to a future employer. If you have multiple instances like that it could become an issue, but it sounds like it's just one that occurred due to unforeseen circumstances. Most any employer would understand.

Edit: Mooney also brings up a valid point. Just remember any employer can check your employment history.
