Well if the airlines ever get that strapped for pilots again they can still have 1500 hour captains, they'll just be upgrading from cessna's to the left seat lol.

I agree that a 300 hour FO is too low time, just my opinion is that they don't necessarily have to be an ATP to be a good enough pilot to sit in the right seat.
