I don't know how they came up with those numbers but the low man on the UAL list is at what longevity level, 12 ish? I have to imagine that half the CAL list is less then that. If the CAL side was all at the 12ish year longevity level I have a feeling that CAL wage number would be higher.
You are probably right about the CAL longevity scale being in the lower range. But I think these numbers factor in the Captains that pick up the OT in the right seat. That brings the compensation #s closer together
