Not to get into a ****ing match over the stupidest of topics, but you must have seen different marketing than I have.

The back cover of July's B&CA (the one with the 2000S on the cover) has a Dassault 2000S ad. It says (and I quote):

Finally, a large cabin aircraft with the airfield agility and efficiency of a smaller jet at a midsize price.

And the price and operating cost is essentially the same, therefore they compete.
On that point, we agree...instead of actually following through with their SMS project Dassault created a refined 2000DX to snipe sales away from supermid competition. Although, $25M list price quoted in aforementioned B&CA that is almost identical to the CL300 and $1-2M higher than the G280 and H4000 is only for the first 25 orders...so the value proposition could change back in favor of "traditional" supermids of the price increases substantially.

Again, time will tell...
