I'm sure things are just peachy there right now, but if they get bought or merged they have absolutly no protection. I would vote in the union now because when it comes time that they need one, they can't just vote 'em in overnight. If management has a good relationship wth the pilot group now, there is no reason for that to change with a union. When my airline was non union we were treated like crap, it got better with a union. Also the legal/medical protections that ALPA provides me is easily worth my 2%, IMO.
