Hopefully I don't get flamed too much on this one. But seriously, we are probably going to be moving to MEM in the next year and I'm interested in finding out in which areas we should look. Where do most of the pilots (and their families) live? We have two children (toddlers) so good schools are important and my wife prefers a smaller community. Anything within a 45min-1hr drive of the AOC would be preferable. Thanks!
as u can see others started flaming away..just like u predicted...the first few responses were valid...collierville..gtown..olive branch..lakeland...etc..all good choices..i think we all realize we would rather live somewhere else..i moved here for a few reasons...no deadheading...no fighting for jumpseats...no expense reports....no weeklong trips...daytrips...no state income tax...lo cost of living...mild winters..etc... it does make the job easier...especially being junior...i was a commuter for 5 years but i was senior at the time and will commute again someday...good luck...pm me if u need a realtor..i have a good one..
