I must confess to posting while intoxicated. Sorry. I'd delete it, but it would do no good since it's been quoted so many times. I still think it sucks to see it carved in stone that you have no chance to upgrade for a minimum of nine years. Yes, I'm still an FO, and will be for quite a long time. Luckily i have other income that makes FO pay livable. I still enjoy the job, so I'll keep doing it. However I probably would have chosen another path if I had known how long I'd be an FO.
