Some years ago, when greenslips were flowing freely, there was a bit of a scandal. There were several ALPA pilots who would drop trips for ALPA business and then pick up greenslips over part of that period.
Some concerned pilots were monitoring this self dealing and would post schedules showing trips being dropped for "ALPA business" and the subsequent greenslip awarded trips of the offending pilot on the bulletin boards.
I don't recall specifically if WS was one of those but I believe it occurred around the time he was the ATL LEC chairman.
There was also a LEC chairman in SLC who became a SLC Chief Pilot; initials JM.
So you are trying to tell me that something
may have happened and it may not have been either of these guys but
after 10 years you are getting your revenge?
If what you say is true then you obviously took care of it back then? If you didn't, why not? If it was taken care of then you clearly don't like this guys for union guys, so who cares if they go to management since you clearly have problems with them. Except, you are now giving exactly enough info for someone to figure out exactly who these pilots are. Why bring it up now? WS is a solid chief pilot. What's next pilots that had DUI's can't be good guys. Pilots that used to be bullies in high school. Hows about guys who failed a check ride or type rating? What purpose can there be to your life to bring up something that
might have happened 10 years ago that is going to cause issues with a pilot who currently holds a position that were talking about?
Now me's thinks abouts it, why are several of you picking on the ATL CPO? Is there a secret message board that said let's pick on the CPO today. His life isnt hard enough so you have to allege he might have done something a decade ago?
