Look at the list that is annually published of ALPA-PAC supporters. Look at the pilots that donate to the Flower Fund, the Charitable Donations that ALPA gives, etc. Those total more than DPA has gotten since its inception and then some. The Charitable Fund alone donated over 100K grand in one instance last year.
But those are charitable except for the PAC, which is a waste.

If DPA supports honestly viewed DPA as critical to their futures I would expect contributions with a couple of more zero's from most supporters. 12 bucks? Give me a break!
But give credit to pilots willing to send money to the DPA despite already having 2% of their pay and 2% of their profit sharing sent to DALPA and LM's ALPA.
The one thing to remember sailing is theyre asking for signatures and not trying to run a union yet. How much money do they need right now? And fwiw I've not been solicited for money by the DPA.
Btw,if there is anything everyone knows you're wiser with your money when you don't have any to spare.
Which brings up a question- does the DALPA war chest get transferred or not to the DPA if the DPA is voted in.
