The Atlanta press was brought in to make it public and show how many pilots are dissatisfied. Visually, it's not very good. It might read better or sound better, but mileage may vary. How many pilots would show up if the meeting was held in the bag area of the ATL crewroom? probably far more than 20. there are complaints not enough show up to the LEC meetings or MEC meetings and now DPA doesn't have enough. now imagine how many would show up if you logged into a gotomeetings.com arena? topic for another day.
i still think it's a sign of what's going on, 3,300+ pilots trying to vote out ALPA and try someone else with the hope it will be a union of the pilots by the pilots and for the pilots... that fly the line.
