No, but I asked the question, and the response I got what this: If we take a stand on anything before the survey is closed, there will be a group of pilots making hay about the fact that ALPA is not following the wishes of the pilots.(Speaking out of school) Sadly, that is probably true, and as a result I see the point in the statement.

This was stated by the MEC Chair himself at one of the Roadshows. It is a very valid point given the fact that someone is always whining.
