I believe, but could be wrong, there were only 160 or so of us senior vol furloughs. Having said that, your point is probably accurate regarding the bypass rate. I'll be in the "thanks, but no thanks" category when the letter arrives.

I'd say given the wide demographic, the average bypass will be in the 4 to 5:1 area which means around 800 to 1000 to fill 200. That's good new for those that want/need the job towards the bottom of the furlough list. Personally, I hope everyone that wants a CAL job gets it.
