Any one have any Idea what the difference between Military deferment and a straight Bypass is? It sounds like they are trying to prevent adding people to the continental list that will accept then take a Military LOA.

If you are on a Mil bypass, they have to take you back when you tell them you are complete with your military service. If you are on a bypass, you have to wait until they call you a second time.

Not quite true Dicecal. If you are on a stright bypass you have to send a letter to CO and let them know that you want to be back in the pool. You then have to wait 30 days for them to see if there is a class that they can put you in. At least that is how I undestand it to be from the TPA.

Same here, was expecting a Guam volunteer offer that was due back to the company the day after tomorrow. Not that I would have taken it, just would have been nice to know they speak the truth when they speak.
